Screen saver will not work.

I have my screen saver set to come on at 15 minutes, but after 15 minutes it doesn't actually go to the screen saver but just shuts off the monitor. Am I missing something here?
 
If your Display's Power Saving is set to 15 Minutes then it shot the display.

If you rather see the Screen saver than shut down the display, change the Power Saving timing.

. . . And, if you have an LCD monitor, you are better off with the power saving OFF option, not a screen saver. A screen saver doesn't have much of any benefit with an LCD. There, the objective is to conserve backlight burn time, not image burn in.
