I'm not a noob and realize that @ higher resolutions u can see more stuff, but at 16X10 how long can you last before you go blind from squinting so much. And dont you see less in games. Pls fix my knowledge if its wrong.

the correct way of using higher resolutions is by pairing it with larger monitors
eg 1024x768 on a 17" and 1280x1024 on a 19"
you wont need to squint as the characters are about the same size, but in the same time you get more space

Back in the day though I used to run 1024x768 on a 14" CRT. I was kind of crazy like that. 😛
