So what is more important to you, having the best screen resolution possible (2560x1440 per se) or having as much screen as possible to look at (nothing smaller than 30" per se)?

Neither. For an LCD, the most import thing for me is that is be at Native Resolution.

But for your poll purposes, I choose resolution.

A bit of both, given real constraints (not all software scales nicely as the DPI goes up). IMO, it's getting to the point where I'd want more DPI over more space. I can appreciate more real estate, but I'd rather have 50-100% more vertical pixels, as of around 22-24". I wouldn't say no to a 27-30", or anything like that, but finer lines and smoother text are far more important to me.

I used a Sony FW900 from 2000 on to 2011. For 11 years I looked @ 2304x1440hz@80mhz ,, I needed the real estate for Sonar app and 1920x1200 was a bit big. You had to enter in custom resolution btw , nvidia or ati doesnt have it automatically.. sold the monitor for 60 bucks,, freakin 100 pound 225watt monitor s Now I have faked up vision... sighs
I retired her....
