Screen resolution / Novell client profile

ok, i have a pc that i changed the resolution on and it is outside the range of the monitor and its not auto-switching back. i tried booting in safe mode with networking (but that is just windows networking) and can reset the res back down there but when it reboots into normal mode it is visible until you login to the novel client. so i think something with the novel client profile is loading the bad resolution settings. any idea how i can change this back to a lower/default resolution?

Safe Mode - Device Manager - Uninstall Graphics Card and Monitor.
Boot up Windows, and let it re-detect.

I don't see how the Novell Client can cause that problem, unless it was blue-screening and turning the monitor off after you login?
