Screen resolution / Novell client profile

ok, i have a pc that i changed the resolution on and it is outside the range of the monitor and its not auto-switching back. i tried booting in safe mode with networking (but that is just windows networking) and can reset the res back down there but when it reboots into normal mode it is visible until you login to the novel client. so i think something with the novel client profile is loading the bad resolution settings. any idea how i can change this back to a lower/default resolution?
 
safe mode.... then open the registry and look around in the novel keys.. Might be something there. Uninstall novel client fix the problem and reinstall novel client if all else fails.
