Screen protector to cover up scratches?

I have a PS Vita PCH-1001.

There is an annoying scratch on the screen, visible during gameplay. I looked up replacing the faceplate but it is too difficult because the faceplate is welded to the oled display.

I am thinking about picking up a screen protector. What type of screen protector is best for covering up scratches? Something soft? Something with a separate applicable adhesive?

Screen protectors prevent scratches, they do not treat them.

Screen protectors exaggerate the visibility of preexisting scratches.

I'm sorry.

Wet application screen protectors do an excellent job of covering scratches.

You have nothing significant to lose by trying it. Next time, put the protector on first when it is new.

Armor Suit Military Shield or Skinomi TechSkin's wet applied screen protectors should do the trick. They hide scratches extremely well.

Yes. I've tried Skinomi TechSkin on my son's PSP and ain't no complain. So far, it works pretty well.
