My buddy got a set of the anti-glare crystal film protectors from the Apple store. I took one and put it on my iPhone.

Application was super easy and it's really durable. It's been OK so far since I had applied it back in September.

A screen protector is not required. The glass front is very scratch resistant. As for the back, I got a skin from Best Skins Ever. It's a fraction of the cost of the Invisible Shield and the exact same material.

one of those cheap plastic ones..i dont really abuse my ipod, so i just need something to protect from the occasional nick.

I bought the Crystal one from the Apple Store for my iPhone, from Power Tools or Pro Tools or something like that. Anyway, it's been absolutely fantastic - it's like it's not even there. I love the InvisibleShields, but I didn't want the mottled surface and anti-skid feature on my iPhone. People always ask me why I don't use a screen protector, when in fact I do and you can't tell 🙂

Alright.... I'm going to suggest the crystal clear case by griffin. It's a hard case that comes with a screen protector. You can pick it up at best buy for 20 bucks. fits perfectly, can't go wrong.

i use that case too. it's great! when travelling i just keep the glass side face down against a flat surface in my backpack, and that's been good enough.
