Screen jitters at anythign about 60Hz

My monitor (Sony Multiscan E400 19" Trinitron) jitters whenever I bump the screen resolution above 60Hz. I normally run at 1280x1024 16-bit depth. The only other resolution so far that I've tried where it doesn't jitter slightly is 1024x768 @ 100Hz. Anyone know what might be causing this? It's a damn good monitor, I hope I didn't get something defective. =\

Heh, trust me I've already tried that. Plus the monitor degauses everytime you turn it on.

Anyone else have suggestions?
