Screen is falling apart on laptop

I purchased my laptop about a year ago its an HP compaq nc4010 and the screen does not stay up...its because the hinges are broken. About 8 months my now ex girlfriend threw it against the wall and broke one of the hinges and now the other hinge has fallen off...I took some pictures to let you know what I am talking about.

Make your old gf pay to fix it....

Cant, I got a restraining order, dont want to have to deal with it...and i can afford to have it fixed...i just need to know where to get the parts...I moved away and no longer have contact with her

I think the fastest way to find out how to fix it would be to contact HP.

Or- find a similar model on E-Bay and replace it. It might well be cheaper than the repair.

I saw 8 of them there - in computers, laptops, do a search for nc4010 under HP-Compaq.
