Just a shot in the dark but could this be a software issue since the other games do not do this, and both of those games are pretty new iirc?

Actually, it's the opposite: the two games in question are among the oldest of the 50 he has (and less system intensive than all the newer ones). As I mentioned above.

But, as he surmised, that also might be why his card don like them.

Actually both Rust and Kerbal Space Program are new games.
And, both are in Alpha state in development, that been said,
it is very likley that they will work properly as soon as they are officially released.

O!!!! Wow. I got the opposite from some of yr posts! You said these two were less demanding, not being a gamer, I assumed that meant they were older than the others.

Well, had you shared that pivotal fact right off, OR at any point thereafter.....could have saved much time.

Hey again Virgorising and thank you for all the attention.
I have an update, i just tried to play DOTA 2 which is a well know, very popular
game that doesnt use any high end technologies\software\graphics,
and yet again, my monitor went into sleeping mode.
also it was after just about 4 min in game, which means that my card didnt even
had a chance to heat up so i dont think it heat related.
In addition and since our last conversation, i moded my case and added an 80mm fan
on the side of it, basically it blows air right on the GPU.

I could use some ideas on how to handle it...

Also i would like to add, during the last week i was exploring all sort of options to deal
with this issue, i even installed the Virtu MVP software, and while doing so i installed
the drivers for my iGP, and in the process somehow the problem disappeared...
I then had to uninstall Virtu due to it having huge compatibility issues with games
(I actually had artifacts in many games), while also uninstalling the iGP drivers on the way and the problem seems to reappear...
So i assumed that the iGP is the cause of the problem, so i disabled it in the BIOS,
yet im still having the issue...

it appears to work, ill check the other games soon too
