Screen gets "washed out" when loading games.

I picked up a Samsung 193P and spent FOREVER calibrating it via the 'Magic Tune' and 'Natural Color' software that came with it. I have it just the way I want it. However, everytime I load a game, I see the screen get much brighter and washed out, which effects the way the game looks. As soon as I exit the game it goes back to the way I want it. I also noticed that when I click on the 'Color' tab in the ATI control panel, I get the same washed out effect. I have to exit out of the control panel and display properties, then go back to the Natural Color software and set it back to my preset. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Why does one preset take over when I load up a game? Any information would help. Thanks.
 
i have a samsung 17" 793df and comes with the same to programs u use to change colour n that, try uninstalling the software u installed for it and se eif it will fix it then reinstall it and be careufull what your changing . its got presets that u can set to take over when u enter fullscreen or game mode, i didnt even use any presets dont need them....use the controls on the monitor to adjust the birhgtness n contrast. but your problem is to do with your settings in your adjustment software for your montior.
 
The monitor I have doesn't have any buttons on it. Well, except for the power button. All of the color controls are set via software. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
