Screen Flashing with Geforce 2 Pro, only with 11.xx drivers and up.

I seem to get this annoying flash on my screen in games and in just a 2d settings with any driver higher than 10.80. I have upgraded all my drivers the the newest and latest thing and have formated many times and still this problem persists.

System

1ghz Athlon Tbird
Asus A7V with 1.08c bios
Hercules GF2 Pro with newest 23.11 drivers (Still does it with the new ones)

I can't seem to figure out what is causing this.

I had a similar problem and it drove me crazy for a while. Screen flashes plus some monitor synch problems in older D3D games. What I did to fix it was download a new INF file for my monitor from the manufacturer's site. Installed it and everything runs great. I've now used 12.90 and 21.81 drivers with no recurrence of the probs. I'm using a Viewsonic PF790 on an Asus V7700, BTW. Hope this helps...

I had tried that it didn't work. I really want to get it working I am sick of having to use the 10.80 drivers for this.
