MY video just started flashing white badly while in games and while watching videos as well. It does not do so in webpages, email or on the normal desktop. in FSX the flash will cause the audio to cut out as well. These flashes happen from 5-20 seconds and appear to be random. Its like a strobe light flash happening so quickly.
This all started happening near as I can tell on the 29th. On the 30th I installed a new video card, so I cannot blame the video card. On the 27th I installed a program upgrade for XBMC called Eden, yet I did not see the flashing for 2 days, so cannot blame Eden either.
I checked system logs and on the 29th there was a restore point created at 11;59pm saying INSTALL: Windows modules installer. Also on the 30th at 11;30 adobe did a flash player update.
My system is an asus ma588-v evo motherboard with 960T Quad core processor. HD 670 flex graphics card, but as I said this problem started before the new card was installed.
previos video was internal graphics hd 4770 and had been fine up until this flashing bug.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
