Screen flashes black then back sometimes when in use. Other times I get errors in weird display. Screenshots inside.

I just re-installed windows and loaded all the new drivers. My screen turns randomly black but then turns back to normal. It does it like every so often. Maybe 4 times a day, but I think when I'm only using it. It's done this before, but I forgot how I fixed it.

Also, new problem: just recently my screen turns black, but sometimes it doesn't go back. Everything turns weird and basic. Screenshots below of errors. What could be wrong? Thx

PC Specs:
3.2Ghz Prescott overclocked to 5% (not that much)
1 Gig pc3700 RAM
Windows Xp Media Center 2005
Nvidia 6800 OC
Dell CRT monitor running at 85hz

I had this problem when my agp/pci frequency was way out of spec on a overlooked overclock setting.

Drivers can be fixed, but make sure you aren't going to fry the card and possibly the board.
 
The last photo you have shows an AIbooster problem. Uninstall AIbooster and see if that helps.

AIbooster is an asus overclocking/ system monitoring program.
 
its probably microsoft detecting you are using a VGA cable 😛

Seriously, no oc'ing until you get that in control...
