screen doesnt come back on after it goes off (set to turn off after 1 min inactivity)

Fujitsu Lifebook N5010, set for the screen to go off after 1 minute.

It used to come back on with a mouse click, movement, or hitting any key. Now I need to hit FN-F10 which is what you use to switch between LCD-CRT or both.

Any ideas about this? Its real annoying, especially in a dark room...
