Screen corruption when changing resolutions

Well I cant find the previous thread (Thanks broken search!), but this has happened before. Basically, when I change screen resolutions, the screen gets very corrupted and I have to restart to fix it. Last time it was due to a faulty motherboard, and now it has started happening again, but its different. It only happens when I use the DVI cable, everything is fine through VGA. 😕
I have no other issues (no artifacts in games etc.)

I'm using a X850XT on a Hanns G 19" widescreen lcd, Epox 9NPA+ SLI mobo

Has anyone else had this problem? I just went through testing a lot of hardware to come to this conclusion...
