screen capturing dvds

some dvds i cant capture still images of. is there a way around this?

i swear ive seen it discussed here but i cant find it.

thanks for any help.

im using powerdvd is there a way in the program itself? i didnt even think of that. i was just using the old "print screen" capture method.
 
not sure about powerdvd but in windvd you press f5 or f6 or something like that....you can't do it in some reasons with print screen because of the overlay properties and how the video is displayed.
 
Config --> Player Setting --> Advanced --> Snapshot tab to set where it's going/how to save

Press C (or the camera icon) to capture frame... it comes out as BMPs though...
