screen capture software..

Were looking for a program that can capture on screen video, and audio piped in through the microphone jack. We want to create a training video basically..

We've seen SnagIt (which doesnt do the audio) and Camtasia Studio, which appears to do everything we need, but is a little pricey ($299)...

Any other suggestions would be appreciated..

(Recording with Windows Media 9 screen/voice codecs would be nice)

camstudio 2.0
not 2.1 and not the newest version

2.0 is the freeware one with all the features, then got bought and made a limited 2.1 version of 2.0 with features disabled, then that company got bought and so on
