screen blanks out after installing Nforce drivers

I just got a new flatscreen monitor with a geforce 2 mx400 with DVI out

i hooked it all up and it works fine, until i install the latest Nforce drivers.

it asks for a restart, and gets close to the desktop the blacks out.. the copmpiuter continuses to boot and makes the start up noise..

whats going on here.. i had a similar problem when i didint install direct X with my old Vid card.. but that isnt the case here.. any ideas?

here is an update.. i tried using an older version of Nforce drivers.. same problem.. except i got a Neon green screen this time..


some one please help me with this

now i got it to boot all the way through.. however now, upon reboot, it cant find the *.inf files


where are they located???
