Screen blackouts on Dell 2005FPW

Whenever I go to certain websites with some kind of javascript or java applications my screen blacks out, and the only way to get it back other than restarting is to put my computer into standby mode and come back out of it again. When it blacks out I can see my mouse cursor and the rest is black, sometimes a jarbled pattern of black and white shows up across the screen afterwards.

It's a Dell 2005FPW hooked up to the DVI on my GeForce 6600 GT

Anyone know what the deal is, if there is a fix or workaround?

Yeah I use AntiVir

Yes but nothing was detected

have you tried maybe trying to use the built in java machine in windows? maybe uninstalling and reinstalling java will help. got another computer to try the screen with? i kinda doubt that there is a problem there, but who knows?

Did you try installing Sun java?
