Screen bigger then monitor after update of NEW Ati drivers

I have a Radeon and updated the drivers to the new ones. But now my screen is bigger than the monitor and the screen will scroll when I move my mouse to the unseen area. Wat happened and how do I fix it???

I noticed that, it seems to happen when you pick a non-standard screen resolution. I normally run my screen resolution at 1152x864 which is fine (along with the other standard resolutions) but I when I pick 1280x720, 1152x648, 960x720 or 864x648, (the only ones I?ve tried) the screen is too big and scrolls with the mouse.

Same problem here and as slapstick says it always seems to happen when picking non (ati)standard resolutions

that happened to be once. i think i reinstalled the drivers and flipped resolutions back and forth and it worked again.

It sounds like the new drivers either changed your resolution of the refresh rate that you're running at. Go into the advanced settings of your video card and check what refresh rate you're running at. Also, most modern monitors have on-screen controls where you can adjust the size/settings of your display (besides LCD's which require no adjustments).

That happened to me and it was a refresh rate problem....

Just reinstall the control panel, reboot, and then go into display and turn off the other monitor or something. Good luck.
