Scratching noise from Radeon?

Ok, well I just got my Radeon in today and this is what I have noticed:

Whenever I play any 3D/CPU intensive games/benchmarks, this high pitched scratching noise starts coming out of my system. This problem did not occur with my old TNT2, so that's why I'm assuming it is the Radeon's problem. And it seems to occur with the CPU cycles, so I dunno if it is another cause. Any info people?

My first guess is the cheap fan. Unplug or remove it because it is not really necessary on the Radeon.

There really isn't an easy way to fix this problem. You could try swapping the card for another. If you can adjust your I/O voltage you may want to try that. AGP driving value could be changed as well. I believe the Radeon prefers a value of 68.

Cheers!
