ltk007, that is certainly not what it means. Depending
on the nature of their "joint venture" it could mean that Sega
may become a Nintendo Gamecube developer once the Dreamcast
meets it's demise in the next 12-14 months.

What few first party Nintendo games that are still in production
will either come out for the N64 or be re-worked for the
Gamecube.

since sega is quitting the console (machine) business and going into development ( as i was told), sega has to develop for someone...

sony SO took the market over when the playstation came out. kinda like nvidia with their TNT. before playstation, sega and nintendo ruled. and before nvidia, 3dfx ruled.

Dammit, I guess I should have read the article more carefully. Still, Sega is another great developer and I'm glad they'll still be in the business after the Dreamcast dies its sad and lonely death (I'll always love mine )

That's somewhat odd, but interesting enough to get me off. Oops I mean intrigue me.

Weird thing is, they've had ties with Microsoft (not only with CE powering the DC's OS, but other ties) and this sort of throws a wrench into things.

I remember spending hours playing FIFA on my cousins Genesis just going around and punching people out. Ahh the fun. (Same with World Cup for the NES - I fondly remember slide tackling people on ice and watching them fly across the field )
