Last couple weeks I noticed my pictures had this haze on them and tried cleaning my camera lens, but there was nothing on the lens. Looks like sand paper was taken to it. This camera is usually in a pocket and I don't share this pocket with anything else. I've only had this phone for about 8 months.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement part for this?

Try buffing it. In the past, I've used hard Arkansas whetstones to take scratches off of plastic. There may be some accessibility issues with a camera lens though. Jewelers rouge, or some other paste abrasive might work. Use your imagination. It's already broken, so you have nothing to lose.

Tried toothpaste and it didn't help much. I want to find a replacement first before I try others.

Have you tried dedicated glass scratches repairing kits? I bet that on internet there are several solutions for sale.

No I didn't really consider one because I heard this is a thin layer added to the glass. Some sort of film I guess..

Thought my LG-G3 lens was scratched, but it was the polarizing coating (what someone said it is). Buffed off the coating with headlight restorer(Blue Magic) and a cu-tip. Lens is fine...no more hazy pics!

The g3 has an obscenely easy to replace lens protector, screw ruining the polarizing lens which would make your outdoor pictures look like crap and just buy a replacement. A quick check on ebay has them for under $7.

Mabe may help?

Got me thinking about my 450 dollar s6? I think that is probably a bit harder to replace the lens if it got scratched? I have a protector on the back that just keeps it about a MM or 2 off the lens. Do people actually put a lens screen protector on these? Sounds like the only way to go... dunno... maybe it's too much? I've had plenty of phones and never really cared to protect the screen or the lens...... I probably shouldn't start worrying about it now! :)

Just for the record..my G3 takes great pictures outdoors without the polarizing coating. In fact the colors are more accurate without it.
