Scratched cell phone screen

I have a Samsung flip phone, and I scratched the display on the outside of the phone. Is there any kind of liquid or something I can apply to fill in the scratch?

If not, what else can I do? Thanks.

can you get oem parts? try checking ebay for screens, they might have something

EDIT: i don't know if there's a way to fill in the scratch, and at first i read the post as u cracked your screen...i suppose a scratch isn't worth getting a new screen over 🙂

Cheers

you can buff out plastic with special rubbing compound and a buffer.
a dremel with a tiny buffing pad would work well for a cell phone.

Thanks for the ideas. I saw some infomercial product that was a liquid you could use to fill in a scratch on eye glasses. Don't know if that is a legitimate product or not 🙂

One of the local news channels has a try it before you buy it segment and that was one of the products they tried two weeks ago It was a complete bust.

Well ... my 7250's facia had a pretty deep scratch.

I used toothpaste... + dremel with buffing pad to buff it out .

It took a LOT of time but made it as good as new.

if you take it to a cell phone shop, they usually have an old broken version that is used for parts. They can replace the screen in 5 minutes.
