Scratch removal on a monitor - help needed

I accidently scratched the anti-glare coating on my 19" CRT monitor the other day. :frown: I went to Viewsonic's website and was informed that there's no warranty coverage for this sort of incident (at least that's what I understood). Are there any methods for removing scratches from my baby?
