i'm in austin for the holidays and i've been doing my usual "buy a 1 dollar ticket when i happen to be at a convienence store" routine and so far this trip has profited me almost 50 bucks, including everything i've spent on gas, drinks, smokes, etc...

not too bad, actually

i buy a single 1 dollar ticket, if i lose i leave, if i win my dollar back i stick it back in my pocket and leave, if i win more than a dollar i buy one more 1 dollar ticket and pocket the rest...do the same with that ticket as the first

i'm actually ahead, i leave with extra cash or even, more often than i leave having lost my dollar
