Scrabble vs. Words With Friends (iPhone apps)

Which is better? Words with friends seems more popular so I've only tried it, not Scrabble. It's so damn addicting, i think i'll buy the paid version. Any differences between Scrabble and Words With Friends? Any preferences?

I didn't like Scrabble. Even though WWF doesn't have the right tiles int he right places (Triple Word, Triple Score), it still I think is a better game. It's a game meant to be played with other people. As far as I know Scrabble you can't play with people online.

thanks, ill look around a bit more and maybe try scrabble and buy one tomorrow.

Scrabble does let you play online via Facebook. The other person doesn't even have to have the app. You can switch seemlessly between playing on the iPhone and playing on the facebook app. in a browser. My wife and I play this way all the time.

You can also play multi-player on a local wifi network.

What do the different notifications do? Specifically what do badge notifications do vs. alerts? Are sounds just sounds that come on when someone makes a move?

Alerts = Message that pops up saying the other person made a move (shows up on lockscreen or while your using another app)

Badge = Small circle with a number over the app icon that shows how many games its your move in
