While he should cooperate, I'm wondering exactly what's going on that would be distressing him. I would like to find out what he's been going through with the doctors and media that would put him off form cooperating.A statement from the trust said: "We regret this has been a distressing time for Mr Stimpson and are happy to discuss any aspect of his care with him.
Ah, the healing power of sheepTwo Sunday newspapers report Scotsman Andrew Stimpson,

If he doesn't cooperate, could someone kill him and then use his body to figure out what was special about his immune system? Or does he need to be alive?
Sadly, I'm not kidding! What a pity if this prick decides not to help out others dying from the disease.

I'm sorry, but you're the prick.
Do you realize exactly how much danger he is in? There is millions of dollars of money on the line. Pharmaceutical companies rely on 'treatments' to generate constant revenue, not 'cures'
He's going to be assassinated or come up missing. At least, that's my guess.

There are also a fair number of people that are immune to HIV/AIDS because of a subtle yet little known birth defect. Basically the virus can't hook in to the immune cells. The person will test positive for exposure to HIV but has no infection.

So far Mr Stimpson has declined this offer."
"Some 14 months later he was offered another test by doctors, which came back negative.
He sought compensation but has apparently been told there is no case to answer because there was no fault with the testing procedure. "
he sounds like a douche bag.

If you got told you had AIDS/HIV, what would your reaction be?
I think you'd have some severe mental issues if you got told you had a terminal incurable illness that was only going to get worse over time.
That he survived/is cured is good, but I hardly see how he's a douche for wanting compensation for his trauma, if he had been mis-diagnosed.
