Anybody able to list the 3D Mark 2005/2003 scores for the 9800XT, 9800PRO 256 and 9800PRO 128? No I don't want the scores some reviewer got in 2003/2004 because that would be of no use to me. I'm having a lot of difficulty in find these so either if you know of some or if possible, could you post your own scores?

Yea I've been only getting 2600 in 3D Mark 2005 with my default settings on my 9800PRO 128, when I overclock, the maximum I get is 2900, I seem to have difficulty in breaching the 3000 mark. I've got Cat 5.10, 3.5GHZ processor and 1GB of ram, can't figure this out... Oh and BTW, texture pref is High Performance.

I'm currently as of this moment, using the Omega Drivers so I don't know if that is the issue but I remember when I first got the Omega Drivers, my score increased considerably enough for me to want to use it.

As of this moment, with a few windows open but with not much running, I get a 2679, I'm going to restart and try agian but this is about the average score I get with 3D Mark 05...

Tried it agian, Only got 2705 with default clock speeds, so what could be the cause of these poor scores?

2700 default with 9800pro 128mb. 2950 overclocked. 3150 bios flashed to xt and then overclocked even more(got better cooling). I'll report back later if i can find a multimeter to voltmod my 9800pro to ~1.8 or 1.9/3.0 This was back when I had cat 5.8s or so. not sure scores now, using NGO 5.13 standard version.

2800 with my 128mb 9800 Pro at default speeds... I'll be re-installing my 256mb 9800 Pro to test it tomorrow & I'll post its score if I remember... to the best of my recollection it scored 3000 though.

Damnit, I knew the 256MB version scored higher...:| And yet people told me that there wasn't a difference...

I got a 3548 with my 9800XT (256MB) at 450/390. Now thats not really a stable OC, there is a couple of artifacts and some tearing, but it's benchable. And everything in CCC is set to performance (for highest score possible).

BTW, thats on my old 2800+ Athlon XP rig.

you just asked the wrong people :p

Radeon 9800 Pro To Radeon 9800XT Mod Guide Rev. 6.0!

the 256MB 9800p IS a 9800xt with a simple BIOS flash . . . mine started off life that way and ran perfectly with a better VGA cooler . . . until i accidently loosened the fan connector. :p

the "extra" 128MB vRAM is very useful in modern games

No, I already knew about the flashing, I have an R350 'cause I checked so I wouldn't be able to flash it. I don't believe all 256MB 9800 pros are guaranteed to be flashable. I posted a poll a while ago asking people if I should regret not gettting the 256MB R9800pro over the 128 and people said no because "the 9800pro wasn't fast enough to utilize the extra memory because it ran so slowly, kinda like a 9200 with 256 ram...

Hmm... 3000-3500 should be the right area... as it goes head to head against a 6600GT and that's what it scores as well.
