So we went Garage Saling this morning and I spent about $20 total.

Kids got a few small things. I picked up a couple of coleman gas stoves for $7. The last place we stopped they had a box full of old computer stuff and I asked how much.

They said five bucks so I rumaged through it and there was a Buslink USB CDRW (4X4X6)

Took it home and dropped a 80GB WD HDD in it and BAM! portable HDD.

I have been looking at buying an external for Back-up nad now I got one for $5 😀 plus a drive I was going to throw in my XBOX whenever I get around to modding it.

YEA ME!
 
Now you don't have a HD for the Xbox. BTW, I don't know any dad who mods an xbox. I always thought that was the son's job.

Son is 6.

So dad will do the modding. The XBOX is MINE and he will get it when the XBOX 360 is in a price range that MRs. tm37 agrees with 😉

He has a gamecube 😀

I got the drive as part of doing an upgrade for someone So yes the drive was free.

As for it being 1.1 Oh well it was $5 😀

I am going to use it to back up all the stuff wee throw on the server so after the intial copy (which will take a while) it should work just fine.

A buddy of mine got a Dr.Beat 88 Metronome (probally 100ish dollars retail) for 5 bucks at a garage sale. The lady said her son bought it some long time ago, but never used it, and just wanted to get rid of it. I paid 50 for mine and i thought i got it for a steal (at the time). 🙁

Maybe i should go to some garage sales...

I was out about 2 hours so I did pretty good this time.

Sure I didn't make $100 an hour but I also did not have....... 😉


Garage sales Rock esp. for Kids clothes we got a bunch of clothes for about $3 bucks for my daughter (2 1/2)

I have had the drive for about 1 year. It was a warrenty repair for a customer who did not want to put it back in her system. So I got paid for the fix.

I got paid for the HDD replacement

I got the hardrive replaced.

SCORE !

Oh I did not even pay shipping because I shipped from my job!
