Score choice on SATII's

I took them in january but did terrible on them. I didn't mark off for score choice either, what effect will this have? I am planning to take them over too.

If you take them over and get a higher score, most colleges will most likely take into effect the higher score.

refresh my memory on what score choice is again?
If I remember correctly, you could choose whether or not to send your SAT II scores to the colleges or not, but what I don't remember is whether that decision was made before or after you got your score(s). However, if you did send them the first time, but took them again and did better, I'm sure they'll take the higher scores into consideration.
I thought SAT II's had no bearing on acceptance, but determined what classes you had to take or could just get credit for. My SAT II's were useless b/c I got credit through AP's for all the classes that I could possible have gotten credit through my SAT II scores

not that much effect, just take them over and do well on them. Most colleges will take the higher score

All right thats what I thought too. But my guidence consouler called me down and made such a big deal about it so I got curious.
