Tech-lovers dream car, damn things always need something fixed (1940 design technology). Well, any time one tries to cross the border to Canada... expect them to trash your VW Bus as they assume all VW bus owners are hippie pot heads. When you go to VW car shows they even have bumper stickers that say "non-hippie bus"
Too bad the Mounties don't care about bumper stickers. Sucks having your 3-year project torn apart in every way (even seats cut) while they look for your "stash" that you never had nor never used. Especially sucks if you have a nice camper (Westifalia) with all kinds of wood cabinets and stuff that can't be replaced.
