So Scivation has an "Xtend 2" and Nutrplanet is getting rid of old formula. For those of you that know this product or use BCAAs it's a pretty good deal. Not as cheap as bulk BCAAs but tastes a LOT better :)

I heard the new formula tastes bad. There's a 10% off coupon for bulknutrition right now. Plus they have a free shipping option. After the code a 90 serving jug is ~$2 cheaper than 3 @ Nutraplanet but there's no way of knowing whether or not it's the new or old forumla. Also, NP is the way to go if you're looking for more variety. I think watermelon tastes damn good. NP is a very reliable site too. I was thinking about ordering some but I need to save monies.

Tastes a LOT better is a huge understatement lol. The bulk stuff smells and tastes god awful.

In, bought 2. Love these things. I have the orange flavor of the new formula and it's a bit overwhelming (taste wise). The original formula I have tastes a lot better.

So this is strictly BCAA's? I'm a big fan of some stimulants (gimme caffeine) and even a little schmeatine in there to help the pump. And then vasodilators are kind of big now aren't they? What makes this a before and during supplement? Do you *notice* anything or is it strictly just aide in recovery? I mean it doesn't look like it has anything in it that you would notice per se....

Edit: So interesting concept. Stimulant free. Calorie free. It's basically only what you need they say. So hypothetically you could use this like Endurox or some of those recovery supplements for running, biking or general exercising, not just lifting or heavy lifting. I suppose you could add it to other stuff as well.

Yes it is strictly BCAA's. There are only three BCAA's in the powder if I remember correctly, but it tastes great. It definitely helps me energy wise through my workouts. I used to just drink water but I'd burn out pretty quick with water alone. I'm not saying that it was because of me taking those and my diet is spot on (I haven't had a cheat meal in two weeks), but I did notice that my energy levels don't go down near as far after completing the workout when taking it.
