Probably not, the previous setup was that TRD was going to build a dealer installed SC that retains full warranty. This says they are gonna build them at the factory this way now.

I'm going to be pissed if they don't keep their word of offering the SC as a dealer installable option.

estimates are about 200 hp. Some say 220, but 200 is what the intial specs were. Whether that's crank or wheels is debatable.

You know how it is, probably $19,995

I'd say about 200hp if the current dealer installed accessory is any indication.

That is most definitely not at the wheels. There's no way a stock powertrain in a tC could get warrantied if the engine was pushing hard enough to get 200 hp to the ground.

I think the supercharger is going to be around 3 grand, and the base car is about 16k-ish, so yeah, you're right on. :D

Well Toyota said the tC was going to be "well under $17,000" and ended up being $16,500. Therefore I'm expecting the supercharged version to be $19,500.

Actually they said it would be "well under 20K". Most people were expecting a 19K-ish car.

the tC is a kick ass car as it is. with the SC, its gonna be awesome. id imagine tweaking the SC to get even more power will be a lot easier than tweaking a NA motor

TRD supercharger packages usually run for about $3-4k installed. So I'd say we could expect 200hp for about $20k plus options. Nothing to get too excited about, just something Toyota is bringing out to compete against the new Cobalt SS.
