Out of the 3, Id go with an RSX-S.

But since I am a Dodgeboy, I'd probably get an SRT-4 and be done with it all instead of any of those :p

If you're going to be a soccer mom and get the automatic, you might as well get the Accord. Then you'll have room to haul a kid to practice.

I took a few test drive's of TC's last month and the inside is really cheap looking. The plastic on the dashboard is really poorly designed.

If you go automatic, get an accord. It's ~1 sec faster than the auto RSX.

As for the TC in auto, the accord has a 5 speed auto vs the TCs 4 speed.

The RSX-S is nice, but for all it's 210hp/2769lbs, it's no quicker than my 162hp/2843lbs car. It might be better around a track, but since you're even considering an automatic, I doubt that it will ever see track time. You'd be wasting your money. And those 210hp are hard to access stumbling around town.

The RSX-S traps ~95 mph, the ralliart ~90 mph, which is a huge difference.

Humor me for a sec. The RSX-S traps at 95mph, what's it's 1/4 mile time? If 5mph is a huge difference, and given that it weighs ~100lbs less and has 50hp more, there should also be a huge difference compared to the RA's 15s 1/4 mile.

EDIT:
Here we go again. That same old comparo conundrum. Our underdog victor offers the worst 0-to-60 time (6.4 seconds), the slowest quarter-mile time (14.9 seconds), the skimpiest back seat, and the most lackluster autocross lap.
1/4 mile's kinda slow, but it's quicker off the line than I remember. I thought that it got to 60mph in 6.7s. That must've been one hell of a clutch dump.

0-60mph in 6.7s, 1/4 mile in 15.0s

I'm still trying to make sense of those numbers... It's quicker off the line, but how come it does the 1/4 mile in the same time but at a higher trap speed? Where does it lose speed/time?

Oh, in the "real" world, it's better to do the quarter mile in 15.0s @ 90mph than in 15.0s @ 95mph... If you get a speeding ticket, you get written down for 5mph less. :p

Yeah, it requires premium (11.0:1 compression), and the insurance is probably higher because it's known as a boy racer car and because Hondas/Acuras get stolen a lot.

At that price point, I would probably wait for the new VW GTI w/ DSG to arrive. It's faster than a manual, and as easy to drive as an automatic.

---
I think that I found out why the RSX-S is quicker off the line. Tires/rims have gone from 205/55R16 to 215/45R17.

I laugh at tuffguy for trying to compare his Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart to an Acura RSX-S. LOL.

Then you're missing the point.

When I got my car, I also shopped for the RSX-S. It's what I know.

And I'm saying that the RSX-S isn't much faster than my "laughable" RA. I've raced enough of them and have beat enough of them to know. I know that the RSX-S has a nicer interior (it oughta for the $6k more), but when it comes to engine/shifter, I prefer my RA. It also only requires regular instead of premium, it's not a thief magnet, it's cheaper to insure, and it comes with free service for 45k miles.

I've never said that the RA is better, nor have I said that he should get an RA. Just that the RSX-S is not godly fast as everyone is making it out to be.

With gas prices continuing to increase, it would be wise to buy the most fuel effecient car. I would go with the four cylinder, manual transmission accord.

 !!

How many miles you got on it? I have nearly 22k already, but I have to drive to off-site locations for work quite a bit. However, I get 40.5 cents per mile reimbursement so it's not all that bad I guess.
