BTW, you can't get a Type-S with a slushbox last I checked.

EDIT: Though for '06 you CAN get an Accord V6 sedan with a 6-speed. Hmm, nah, my vote stands. The RSX is best suited of the bunch for a 6-speed.

Would you get the supercharger package from Scion for the TC to make it more competetive with the RSX Type S?

supercharger my foot. it's never coming out. i had a scion tc before and was anticipating for the s/c release... but it never came out. what i did was trade my tC in for a type-s and i've been happy since. the type-s is a badass car for the money.

BTW, the 06 civic SI is going to have a similar engine as the RSX-S, but down 10 HP. The chassis is already basically the same. MSRP for an 06 civic SI is supposed to be 20K.

With the depreciation hit from trading in, you could have bought a real sports car for the money.

If you're interested in performance, you'd be a fool to buy an automatic.

The RSX-S is nice, but for all it's 210hp/2769lbs, it's no quicker than my 162hp/2843lbs car. It might be better around a track, but since you're even considering an automatic, I doubt that it will ever see track time. You'd be wasting your money. And those 210hp are hard to access stumbling around town.

The tC is overated. I don't think that it makes as much power as advertised, it gets beat by everything.

I am driving a 2003 RSX type s now. I would get another one if I wanted a sporty, front wheel drive, hatch back coupe.

Current year, I would say Scion on both. The RSX is great, but a bit uncomfortable
