SciFi Channel Rocks!

What is the crap that's usually on SciFi? I have never come across a channel with such godawful movies and sh1t. And the show that's on right now 😕

They've given up on producing quality shows and are instead showing straight to video B, C, and D grade Sci-fi movies that go straight to video.

The only thing they've got good going for them right now is Stargate SG-1 and now Stargate Atlantis and they're self-made mini-series movies. Those aren't shown often enough though. Maybe they'll hit gold when they start showing the new Battlestar Galactica series in Jan 2005.

actually, I thought the programming this week was great. I've been watching it for about 6 hours today.

I like some of the stuff they play too - even if it is corny as hell. Good for a laugh if nothing else 😛 Stargate is good, too. Now if only I could find some place to rent the early seasons...

Sci-fi channel has sucked since they decided to cancel their highest rated series they ever have shown:

FARSCAPE

-------------------

The producers of Farscape, after being renewed after the first season, wanted a total of five season to tell the story of John Crichton. Sci-fi said yes to the deal and everything went fine until the first five to six episodes of the fourth season rating crashed. If you followed the series closely then you would know these were the episodes that were spent getting the crew of Moya back aboard the ship. The last have of the season picked up the pace of the show but still Sci-fi had decided to jump the shark and cancel the show even though the ratings when back up. I have not decided yet if I will watch the 6 hour conclusion
to the series.
