i remember being a kid watching nickleodeon and scientology commercials would come on. I am outraged about this as an adult because i feel now like they were trying to brainwash me as a kid.

i used to think "wow, what's wrong with scientology. it's about science so it can't be bad".



my point is, is there anything i can do about it now that i'm an adult?
 
only commericals i used to see all the time are the mormon ones. u know.. aka the church of the latter day saints? 😛
 
i used to see those too 0roo.

the commercials are for a scientology book that explains what it's all about, and it has something like a scene of clouds and the sun shining, and they are talking about science-fiction writer and founder L. Ron Hubbard.

heh yea i saw them ALL THE TIME! i've never seen a commercial for scientology though. and my young mind had no idea they were mormon commercials. i just clumped them into the general christian religious stuff. not until later did i figure out what they meant by "latter day saints" lol🙂

Yeah, there is something you can do about it...you can pull up your skirt, grab your balls and stop whining. Truth be told I'd venture to say that Marc Summers has brainwashed you into becoming a pussy.
 
I remember the scientology commercials, "DIEE AHHHH NETICs, by L RON HUBBARD" as the book came out of a volcano. I just took them as adds for a book. The other ones were completely vague, they wanted you to call for more information on how to improve your life, thats about all I remember.

It works for cruise, travolta, and charles manson, so i'm joining up tomorrow.

u see this is the problem though. they were actively looking to target children who were impressionable. this sort of thing is dangerous because the parent's were unaware that this was going on. and nickleodeon was getting paid to air these commercials which is wrong. who knows what's going on today on that station
