Why does it seem a lot of celebrities are christians?
Although I wonder how many would admit it. Seems most prefer not to share their personal views with the country.

And then some want the whole world to know exactly how they feel about everything everyday.

List

Anyone ATOT a Scientologist?

When you consider how obscure half the people on that list are, and how many celebrities there are, perhaps you might realize how FEW celebrities are scientologists.

Charles Manson, serial killer (professed Scientology in 1961, but critics claim he only read books in prison in the early 1960s)

I'd say something bad about Scientology here, but I'm afraid they'll show up at my house and throw rocks through my window.

My parents are Scientologists. They are perfectly fine as long as Scientology isn't the topic of conversation, then they become irrational.

In my opinion Scientology isn't any worse then most religions. The problem with Scientology is that their fanatic to normal ratio is too high, and IMO fanatic = bad no mater what religion it is.

Tom Cruise: "all of psychology is bad, they do bad things, I know, you don't!"

Heh, f'in moron. Psychiatry in it's early days (NOT psychology) was bad and the first thing they teach in class is that the dim-dark days sucked. It's much better now, and unlike scientology, is based not on psuedo-science, but on fact and scientific method.

I better watch it, or Xenu is going to come and get me.

The sad part is they don't TELL you what it's about until you have already spent an average of 50 to 60 THOUSAND dollars. At that point many Scientologists either A) choose to believe it so their life savings isn't wasted. B) Kill themselves C) Leave Scientology

No, scientologists are much much much worse than most religions.

While religion is a cult, scientoligists are a real cult. A real wealthy cult.

it was a shame to hear about Isaac Hayes and the whole incident with South Park, relating to the scientology episode, which i found to be hilarious btw.

I was at the Scientology Church of NYC last Saturday. They were showing some free introductory video and we were waiting around for Tarzan (which was across the street) to start so we went in to check it out and maybe get a glimpse of tom cruise. The receptionist lady was pleasant enough but had weird teeth and a weirder accent. She directed us to a hallway with little video clips and posters to read. We were laughing and giggling the whole time cause it was just too funny and then some dude came to talk to us and we didn't like that so we skipped the free video and went on to see Tarzan (which was pretty damn good, btw).

oh yea..the weird dude asked us "Are you guys from around town?" and i thought he asked "Do you want to meet Tom?". But then I realized what he was really asking. See? they trick you into thinking you might meet Tom Cruise then they take all your money.
