Interesting. Let's hope for something good for people out of this.

It is intersting. I sure hope the Radically Religious don't find some fault in this though as well.

This is the devils work... we should not be playing god with chemicals...who knows what kind of nuclear hocus pocus side effects this will have.

People need to stop worshiping doctors and turn to the Lord.

I'm going to guess Dave can dish out the sarcasm like none other, but doesn't like it or perhaps even recognize it when someone else does likewise.

Oh well, at least we have plenty of :cookie:'s to go around 🙂

I was going to say the same thing. You can get just as good results from other stem cells, it doesn't need to be embryonic stem cells.

who cares exactly how it was acheived. The fact that it was done is good, right? OR will anyone spin this into more than what it is.

where did that come from? You know, this MIGHT have been a decent discussion...considering there's nothing controversial about the OP.

Of course, you KNOW some moron is going to read that article, try to give his/her paralyzed dog plain old antifreeze, and sue when it dies.

Unfortunately, there are no other human stem cells than embryonic. Of course, it's nice if it works with a dog, this proves that there is a high chance that it might work with humans as well, but dog-dna isn't the same as human-dna. Now even if this will work with palsy, stemm-cells have much more potential, like curing cancer or parkinson while these diseases are very dna-specific

True, 50.9% of America could use a shot for reversal of paralysis of the brain 😀
