Sounds like Bush's hydrogen economy.. waste a LOT of energy to get a little bit of "renewable fuel".
 
There is a company in SF that is attempting to use dog droppings to generate methane.

They received a contract and will use the fule from one of the city's largest dog parks.

good idea tho. there aint much u can do with cow dung and whenever i pass an agricultural area next to the highway, it stinks like hell! but if they can extract gas from cow dung, think of what else they can do!
