Scientists discover that ugly guys *should* look at pretty girls...

I usually try to look at pretty girls in such a way that they don't know I'm looking at them and think they are pretty. For example, if a pretty girl walks in a room, I will purposefully look away so she won't think I am attracted to her and think, "ewwww, that ugly guy likes me".

But I just saw an article about how glances are used to form first impressions. And if you look away from someone that makes the other person have a less favorable impression of you.

So, in my effort to spare pretty girls thinking that an ugly guy thinks they are pretty (and causing them great discomfort), I might have inadvertently made them less likely to like me.

😕 It seems to me that looking away would make you look rude, i would rather be polite anyways.

If I'm going to look I'm going to look, peacocks get attention because they're beautiful and no one feels guilty for looking.

Oh, and "No matter how beautiful she is, some guy, somewhere, is sick and tired of putting up with her sh!t." That takes all the trepidation out of it for me.

LOL i do the same thing

maybe we should change

I never look away first. If she continues to look at me, I wink and smile.

Looking away quickly makes you look insecure and/or rude. Either way, it's bad.

Remember, confidence is more important than looks to a woman.

This is why geeks never get any.

when i was younger i would look away.

But now that im older (onlyh 31 heh) i just do not give a crap. If i see a pretty girl i dont mind takeing a good look at her or even pointing her out to friends or the wife (she also points them out to me).

If a women does not like it then to bad. part of the penalty for being pretty is having us ugly guys look at them!

I do the same thing, lol. The first time I went to hooters when I was like 18, i was uber shy. So shy I would barely check out the girls working there, I guess I felt guilty in a way just looking at them. The waitress was uber hot and kept hinting around that she wanted to be asked out but I was a @*#@ idiot for not doing so back then. She said it was cute that I was so shy and that she wasn't doing anything the next weekend and didn't have anyone to hang with. Oh well. I blow it every freaking time.

i find it funny when a girl has dressed herself up and put on makeup etc, then goes on an offended crusade stating that all men want to do is look at the woman and dont care about her personality.......heh

its one thing if a girl is naturally pretty, then she has the right to have that attitude.....but if she makes herself up so guys will look at her, then moan when its not handsome studs checking her out, she has NO right as she has made herself up.....meaning she wants to be seen....

oh i know women do like to dress themselves up for themselves....but lets be honest, its mostly to get a guy looking at you.....or you work in a place with other women and u dont wanna be the frumpy one....lol

i'm not sexist, but i'm not afraid to say something thats truthful......

what's wrong with saying 'hello?'

You mean socially engage with them??? Does anybody do that anymore?

No, you're supposed to just manhandle them, say "Hey, baby, I have a drink for you", then whip it out. Then, after you're done having acrobatic threesome chocolate syrup sex, and after you're done doing something naughty in her hiney, you drop her off on the curb of some random street in suburban LA. And suffer no ill consequences either from STDs, having to pay child support, rape/molestation charges, etc.

Or so pornographic movies would have me believe.
