You are a retard. How do you think we have found cures for so many diseases? Why do you think that the human lifespan has increased by more than 20 years over the past half decade? That's right, dedicated molecular and genetic biologists working on things you can not beging to fathom with a grade-school education. I guess it's human nature to fear anything you don't understand but that's life...get over it.

Are you done now? What was it he said that was incorrect? Considering the outcome it wouldn't seem that they understood it much better than he does with his "grade-school education".

Get off your high horse. There are hundreds of reason for the increase in the human life span besides medical research.

By the way, name me one virus we've found a cure for. Exactly.

For the LAST FSCKING TIME. TB is NOT a virus!!! Never has been, never will be.

TB is curable because it is a bacterial infection. NOT viral.

Yeah, you're right. This silly "medical research" stuff is overrated anyway. Who needs it?

I was under the impression that we can cure at least one form of Hepatitis

Oh dear god, they're "fvcking with stuff" so that they will be able to understand it. We don't know how to cure cancer or AIDS, so let's not try to find a cure... Riiiiggghhtt.

It's not like they take TB, change it, and then spread it around the world to see what happens. They do it all in a controlled lab setting behind panes upon panes of plexiglass and self contained decontamination systems.

That is correct.

The heart of the problem as I see it is that these folks came up with something completely unexpected and deadly. How they handle it is of course terribly important. If they can understand what is happening, then another piece of the mechanism of infection may be discovered. Of course they have a bit of a puzzle now. They need mutants to do experiments, but this is an exceedingly deadly one. I can't objectively say what they ought to do, because I am not in their lab or privy to their protocols. Someone had better be damned careful though.
