I was wondering what a good scienific graphing program is (excel is not well suited for scientific graphs). My high school likes to use graphical analysis, but it's not a very good program. Is there any industry standard program for scientific graphing, or any generally good packages?

I was looking more for a program for plotting data, not doing calculations (I use Matlab for that).

There are programs like SPSS that provide Scientific Graphs. Excellent package but goes for few hundreds $$$

Type: scientific graphs into Google or MSN search.

Go through the URLs, there are few programs based on things like Perl and Java.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up getting a copy of SigmaPlot 8 from my dad. It's a pretty tight program.
