Hey all. I used to work in Protein Biochemistry and have been out of science for quite some time.

I am looking for a magazine that is a good laymans science magazine, not an academic journal.

Popular Mechanics isn't really my type of magazine, too much engineering and not enough science.

I had totally forgotten about Discover, thanks for reminding me.

So which is better New Scientist, Discover, or Scientific American?

Other suggestions also accepted.
