does anyone subscribe to any sci-fi or fantasy magazines? I see there are several out there, but not sure which ones are good.

guess i should go to a book store and check them out myself, but i would like your thoughts.

It's all online.. it's not in print. He actually updates issues after they're initially published online too. I think it's only like $2.50 for an issue. Worth a shot.

I used to read Asimov's a decade ago, but too many of the short stories were thinly-cloaked and somewhat clumsy commentary on current social issues rather than being stories about exploration, discovery, inventions and adventure.

FYI baen.com has several dozen free e-books from major authors like Drake and Weber plus lesser-knowns if you're looking to try some new authors.
