It's amazing how many episodes were introduced by Rod Serling with a lit cigarette in his hand.

Rod Serling had to be the coolest cats of his day. I started smoking because of him.

the episode with the kid that would get mad and the adults would cower up was really good.

Good for you.

The extra commercials during parts of this marathon is so freakin annoying. Last night they literally had a 60 minute episode that spanned well over an hour. About an hour and twenty minutes I think. I swear every other 5 minutes was commercials.

I love these marathons :D

Did anyone else see the episode (about an hour ago PST) where the girl was refusing to get 'the transformation' to become beautiful like everyone else? I found the ending very unsatisfying...

I'm (gasp) old enough to have seen the originals as they came out on TV. I have to admit that seeing them again, they don't quite measure up to my awed and worshipful memory of them. But, back in the day, they were head and shoulders above just about anything else on the tube.

Rod Serling was a manic genius, cranking those puppies out at a truly prodigious rate. I see an old school, no-nonsense office with a manual typewriter strewn with butts in overflowing ashtrays and half finished cups of Joe. I also wouldn't be surprised if there'd been bennies about, writer's little helpers.

Any sacrifice for the art, you know. 'Cause if they were good enough for truckers and GI's in combat, why not avail yourself of all that modern science had to offer? ;)

An hour on the west coast is different than an hour on the east coast?

I have recorded all the them but missed one because we testing out a Pearl Harbor on the BF42 server. No biggie though it was the one with Mickey Rooney as a jockey who wants to be a "big" man.

My son is 10 and I never thought he would like T.Z. being its in B&W and no frills special effects. But he is hooked almost as much as I am. He would come in the living room every 1/2 hours to see which one was on. He has actually watched most of them with me.

Excellent writing good acting and most with plots to keep you in your seat. One the best series that has been on tv.
