just wondering if anybody has read "capitalism, socialism, and democracy", and if so, is it down to earth or is it pretty wordy and technical?
 
Well, I thought ol Joey S. was hella solid and insightful back in the (college) day. As I recall, he was pretty good in giving the overview rather than a fetid bouillabase (sic) of techno-poop, but no learned tome of socio-economic analysis is Archie Comic smooth, and I truly can't guarantee that you'll find him a sweet read.

They don't call Economics the Dismal Science for nothing!
