I think he is a good senator but one negative side he is public attention bltch, he takes any chance to get on the camera. During sars he even to chinatown to have dinner just to get publics attention.

Maybe he came to China Town because he represents Chinese New Yorkers just like everybody else and wanted to hear their concerns. Don't feel so bad about yourself that if somebody shows you some attention it has to mean they want something pr need attention. Maybe you feel you aren't getting enough attention and envy him. Go do something good and you'll get good attention.
